Privacy Policy
Promptoire is built on a simple principle: your prompts belong to you.
What We Collect
Nothing. Promptoire does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All prompts, versions, tags, collections, and settings remain on your Mac.
No Accounts
Promptoire does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. Open it and start using it.
No Analytics
We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services that monitor your behavior. We do not know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what prompts you write.
No Advertising
Promptoire contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers because we have no data to share.
Purchases
Promptoire is sold through two channels. In both cases, ELSI Holdings LLC does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.
- Mac App Store: Purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment data.
- Direct (promptoire.app): Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's Privacy Policy governs payment and order data collected at checkout.
Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's standard on-device storage (SwiftData/SQLite). If you delete the app, your data is deleted. We cannot recover it because we never had it.
Zero Network Calls
Promptoire makes no network calls of any kind during normal use. There are no external servers, no telemetry endpoints, and no background data transmission.
Third-Party Services
Promptoire does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data during normal app use. The only external communication occurs at the point of purchase: Apple's Mac App Store or Paddle.com (for direct purchases). Neither service has any access to the prompts or data you store in the app.
Children's Privacy
Promptoire does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and note the effective date. Given our architecture — no data collection, no accounts, no analytics — we do not anticipate material changes.
